Oh hello, higher education. This scares me.

My new room is adorable - it's quite small, but it's very clean and my bed is so comfortable and I have more storage space than I know what to do with. Anyone could tell you that I'm not the most sociable person, but I've made a couple of new friends including Beth from Connecticut, which made me happy (I'd been watching Gilmore Girls) and Izzie who lives next door. The general consensus seems to be that nobody has a clue what is going on, so at least I'm not the only one.

The one thing that is getting old before it's even really started is the whole "going out" culture. I just seriously can't be bothered with it. I find clubs genuinely dull. Bars, I can just about handle, but clubs are so boring. Luckily, Beth seems to feel the same way, so at least I'm not alone in that.

I of course brought my SPN boxsets with me - I'm not ashamed to say that I'd rather stay in and watch "Heart" than go out tonight. But I suppose I should at least make some effort ...
